TVS Television Network is now 65 years old. It was founded in 1960 to provide college basketball coverage to broadcast TV stations. This relationship culminated in the 1980's when TVS and NBC aligned to take advantage of the growing popularity of the sport.
TVS also covered NASL Soccer, WPBT Bowling, WFL Football, IWA Wrestling, Virginia Slims Tennis, LPGA Golf, AIAW Championships, Major College Bowl Football Games, NASCAR, Grand Prix, SCORE Off Road Racing, Pro Rodeo, and many other national sports events.
TVS today produces 500 shows yearly for broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms. Shows include Wild Wheels, Lift This!, Mighty Feats of Strength, Pulling For Glory, Basquet Cases, Silver Skates, Lucha Loco, Hot Pockets, and Bowlarama.
TVS currently presents 40 24/7 streaming FAST channels on the WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix. These include ten sports channels, including TVS Classic Sports Network, which began transmitting to cable TV systems in 1973.
