TVS Television Network is the fourth oldest commercial broadcast TV network in the USA. It was founded by Eddie Einhorn in 1960 and for two decades was the leading independent TV network in the USA. During that time, TVS created the college basketball franchise with regional and national coverage that culminated with a joint venture with NBC in the early 1980's. TVS also pioneered college football bowl coverage, NASL Soccer with Pele, WFL Football, AIAW Championships, Virginia Slims Tennis, IWA Wrestling, Championship Boxing, LPBT Bowling and many other top national sports
