TVS First Look Original Productions Will Produce 'Gum Drop Hip Hop' Music TV Series Featuring Skool O' Foolz, The Skunkz, and King Kong Kines

TVS Television Network will produce a series of 'Gum Drop Hip Hop' Music Videos for TV  featuring hip hop groups Skool O' Foolz, The Skunkz, and King Kong Kines. The songs will appear on various TVS streaming networks as well as on broadcast and cable outlets. They will also be available for home video.

TVS produced the 'Fresh Groove' TV series back in the early 1980's as the first rap music syndicated TV show, when neither MTV nor Soul Train would run the Sugar Hill Records music videos of their early mega hits. The success of Fresh Groove forced MTV to produce Yo! MTV Raps to great success.

Gum Drop Hip Hop will showcase kids oriented party music, which was the origins of Rap Music before it morphed into a gritty street themed genre. The pizza party, break dance, roller skating themes of early hip hop will be reintroduced in this series.  More dancing - no cursing!

TVS Records hip hop artists Skool O' Foolz, The Skunkz, and King Kong Kines will be featured in the first 13 episode series of Gum Drop Hip Hop. The series is being produced by TVS in their studios in Bakersfield and San Francisco.
