TVS Action Network Begins in April With Classic and Current Pro Wrestling Showcase Including IWA and APW Nevada Headliners on WatchYour.TV

 TVS Action Network is the newest  TVS 24/7 streaming FAST channel on the WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix. The channel begins in April 2024 and will showcase combat sports such as pro wrestling, arm wrestling, PKA Karate, paint ball, MMA, and boxing.

The channel will initially highlight APW Nevada Wrestling, as well as classic IWA Wrestling from the 1970's. Erik the Red, The Mighty Igor, Ernie Ladd, Bulldog Brower, The Mongols, Gino Brito and Dino Bravo, Johnny Powers, Thunderbolt Patterson, Tex McKenzie, Cowboy Bob Ellis, Rip Hawk, Jim Wilson, I(van Koloff, Mil Mascaras, The Love Brothers, Argentina Apollo, Luis Martinez, and The Somoans will all appear in the IWA Classic Wrestling programs.

APW Nevada is introducing a new line of current wrestling stars, with many coming from WCW, TNA, and other major wrestling troupes. Both IWA and APW Nevada wrestling are TVS Television Network productions. TVS was the first national TV treatment of pro wrestling back in 1976 with the IWA.

Rupert Murdoch's Cable Talk TV is Kaput, but TVS Talk TV Network is Going and Growing on WatvhYour.TV platform, Powered by Tulix

 Just as TVS Talk Network, a 24/7 streaming FAST channel on the WatchYour.TV platform, began to add current talk programming to it's classic fare, Rupert Murdoch pulled the plug on his UK cable talkfest. TVS Talk Network is one of 40 24/7 streaming FAST channels on the WatchYour.TV service provided by the TVS Television Network. TVS Talk Network streams on a free to view worldwide basis.

The network began modestly with a collection of classic TV gabfests, from Mike Douglas, Mike Wallace, and Geraldo Rivera to Phil Donohue, Joan Rivers, and Sally Jesse Raphael.  In late 2024, TVS Talk Network will begin to introduce their lineup of current talkers as the channel expands it's purview.

TVS Classic Sports Network to Debut 'The Film Room' in Summer 2024 on the 24/7 Streaming FAST Channel on WatchYour.TV, Powered by Tulix

 TVS Classic Sports Network is unveiling a new series, 'The Film Room', in Summer 2024. TVS has a library of more than 5,000 sports films produced in the 20th Century and will generate a comprehensive series depicting sports in the 20th Century with that library.

Films cover all major sports of the 20th Century as well as some of the lesser known or forgotten sports - and their stars- in the series. Also included in the series will be 'discovered' films that have been lost for decades. One of these is full game coverage of the 1951 Pro Bowl, discovered in the archives of a Los Angeles TV station. Another is a LSU Basketball game featuring Pete Maravich, discovered with a retired TV sports director in Louisiana.

TVS Classic Sports Network to Showcase Reggie Miller in 1985 NIT Championship - UCLA vs. Indiana on WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix

 You didn't often find UCLA or Indiana relegated to the NIT, but that's exactly what happened. They both made it to the NIT Championship, with UCLA being led by future Indiana Pacer superstar Reggie Miller. The result was a classic shootout.

TVS Bowling Network Has Launched as a 24/7 Streaming FAST Channel on the WatchYour.TV Platform, Powered by Tulix

 TVS Television Network has reached deep into their classic sports archives to launch the TVS Bowling Network. Championship Bowling, Top Star Bowling, Las Vegas Celebrity Bowling, Candlepin Bowling, ,LPBT Bowling, PBA Regional Bowling, PBA Senior Bowling, Make THat Spare, Jackpot Bowling and Collegiate Bowling classics have been included on the program schedue.

New bowling shows such as Challenge Cup Bowling,  Spin It + Win It Bowling Trivia Show, and Bowlarama productions will be included.

TVS Vintage Network Showcases Iconic TV shows From the First Decade of Commercial TV - 1948-1957 on WatchYour.TV, Powered by Tulix

 Originally, TVS established the TVS Nostalgia TV Network to showcase black and white TV shows from the 1950's, 1950's, and 1960's. As this channel was developed, it became apparent that there was a distinct difference in the first decade of broadcast TV and the subsequent decade. With that in mind, TVS created the TVS Vintage TV Network, a showcase of TV shows produced and distributed from 1948-1957. 

The result of this has almost become a history lesson of sorts. Early TV was restricted by the limited capacityof the early TV programming cameras, lighting, etc. The cable that carried network TV went only as far as St.Louis, so all TV stations West of there had to be serviced with what they called kinescope films that were shot of the live performances. 

These performances originally came from New York, for logistical reasons. When The Ed Wynn Show began TV production in Los Angeles, the show would airlive in the West but had to be delayed until the following day in the East so that the kinescope could be shot, processed, and shipped via airplane to New York.

Finally, in the early 1950's, the cable was completed so that the entire country could see the programming at the same time.

ESPN Classic has Come and Gone, But TVS Classic Sports Network is Still Standing 50 Years Plus

 TVS Classic Sports Network began in 1974, 50 years ago. It was the first basic cable network and enjoyed wide distribution on cable TV systems. Known as All Sports/All Day at the time, there were no satellites then, and the programming was distributed on video tape.  

It wasn't until the 1990's that TVS was acquired by All Sports/All Day and rechristened TVS Classic Sports Network.  When ESPN decided to get into the classic sports genre, they acquired a rival startup and rechristened it ESPN Classic.

While ESPN lost interest in the classic sports category, TVS Classic Sports Network has continued to thrive. Early on, TVS got into streaming the network, which continues today on the WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix. Along the way, TVS has also established an AVOD service on Daily Motion.

Either way, you can enjoy classic sports television from the 20th Century with a click of a mouse as well as on Apps such as Apple, ROKU, Amazon, and Google.
