TVS Television Network first started in 1974 when it supplied an All Sports/All Day format to cable television stations across the USA. It was the nation's first cable TV network. Delivered by video tape, the channel offered ten hours of sports daily and was often the first national program origination by cable systems. In 1976, the channel transmitted the first live national commercial cablecast in association with the Young and Rubican Advertising Agency.
In 1987, All Sports/All Day acquired the TVS Television Network and converted that entity into the TVS Classic Sports Network. The network ran on cable systems as well as broadcast syndication until it became a seminal internet service, eventually becoming the first streaming internet channel.
Today, TVS Classic Sports Network is a 24/7 streaming FASR channel on the WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix. It is one of ten different 24/7 streaming sports channels from the TVS Television Network, all of which can be seen on the WatchYour.TV platform.
