 The first Drive In Movie started in New Jersey in 1933. By 1958 there were more than 4,000 of them.

TVS Tavern TV Network is a Hidden Bar Favorite Channel For 30 Years

 In 1994, when the TVS Television Network first acquired the Tavern TV Network, we did not have an area tavern that was offering the channel to its patrons. We were excited to see the channel 'in action' and called a local tavern and offered to take a full table all night if they would put just one of their TVs on Tavern TV so we could watch it. They agreed.

When we got there, the tavern had 15 of their 16 monitors on Sunday Night Baseball, and one on Tavern TV Network. What happened next was amazing.... one by one, customers saw what we were watching (Alcindor vs. Hayes basketball, Rocky Graziano boxing, Bo Jackson in the Senior Bowl, Richard Petty winning his 200th race) and asked the management to switch their TVs as well. In a matter of an hour or so, 12 TVs were watching Tavern TV and 4 were watching Sunday Night Baseball.

Thirty years later, we're still making sports fans happy!

TVS Women Sport TV Network Carries Classic LPBT Bowling Shows Telecast by TVS in the 1980's and 1990's on WatchYour.TV

 In the 1980's and 1990's, TVS Television Network televised the  Ladies Professional Bowlers Tour across the USA. These events propelled womens pro bowling into the national spotlight and resulted in the sport gaining even wider recognition on ESPN.

TVS Tavern TV Network Brings Back the Bulldog Brower Mighty Igor Frud IWA Wrestling Feud on WatchYour.TV

 In 1976, the TVS Television Network founded the IWA Wrestling organization in order to create the first national treatment of pro wrestling via syndicated television. At the time, wrestling organizations like WWWF, AWA, and Hollywood Wrestling were strictly regional companies.  

IWA/TVS then gathered the top wrestlers, such as Ernie Ladd, Mil Mascaras, Cowboy Bob Ellis, The Somoans, Gino Brito and Dino Bravo, and others to create a TV spectacular.

Part of the story line was the feud between Bulldog Brower and The Mighty Igor, which highlighted several weeks of the show. 

Today, that feud is relived on the TVS Tavern TV Network, which carries both the Classic IWA Wrestling and the new version, IWA Lucha Loco.
